The No. 18 Angelo State Rambelles faced a difficult task in its season opener, hosting the No. 4 Colorado School of Mines Orediggers. This marked the schools' first meeting since the 2024 South Central Regional, when Colorado School of Mines defeated Angelo State 3-1.
