Makayla Hundt scored three goals and added an assist as the Columbia River girls soccer team opened with an impressive 7-0 win over Mountain View on Thursday.

Olivia Alvord assisted on two of Hundt’s goal, Madi Nides had a goal and an assists and Harper Lapinskas scored a goal off a corner kick for the Rapids.

Evergreen rolls past Bay

Miriam Madrigal had three goals and one assist, and Gianna-Mei Alejo Pagaduan added one goal and four assists as Evergreen beat Hudson’s Bay 7-1.

Stars of the day

Camille Cresap, Battle Ground girls soccer, had two saves in goal to make Marissa Loveall’s goal standup as the Tigers beat Woodland 1-0.

Ella Thompson, Camas volleyball, had 11 kills, six digs and three aces as the Papermaker beat West Linn (Ore.) 3-0.
