LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Competitive eaters and Las Vegas food lovers were invited to take part in a unique food challenge involving big sandwiches.

It took place inside the Sahara Las Vegas at Chickie's & Pete's on Thursday, where competitors had to conquer a two-foot-long Philly cheesesteak weighing three pounds, plus two pounds of fries, all within 45 minutes.

Las Vegas-based competitive eater Raina Huang successfully beat the "Fly, Cheesesteak, Fly" food challenge with nearly 30 minutes to spare.

Those who finished the challenge walked away with a photo on the restaurant's "Wall of Fame," and a commemorative shirt, which was a nod to Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts and read "It hurts so good!"
