Elliot Anderson has revealed why he left the Scotland camp two years ago as he insisted "I'm definitely English".
The Nottingham Forest star was called up by Steve Clarke two years ago for a double header with Cyprus and England - but withdrew from the camp and brought an end to his Dark Blues career.
Anderson qualified via his Scottish gran but he quit the squad and could now make his England debut against Andorra in a World Cup qualifier after a senior call up by Thomas Tuchel.
At the time it was reported that Anderson withdrew from the Scotland squad due to injury.
But he's now opened up on that decision and said: “I went away with the Scotland team and I left camp after a few days and decided I just needed more time to make my decision really,”
