“You just made my day!” is a phrase Tiffany Chang has gotten used to hearing.

Chang, 17, is the founder of Corgis Against Mental Illness, a nonprofit devoted to helping those who experience mental health challenges. As well as fundraising, Chang brings her trained emotional support corgis, Tootsie and Daisy, to locals to offer some comfort and smiles. Her work is brimming with moments of joy, like a moment when special needs children ran to Chang and her dogs with elated grins at a NAMIWalks event. Or, when a resident of a board and care home saw Chang walk in with her pup team and said, “Honey, you just made my day!”
