HOUSTON (KIAH) — A man has been arrested in connection to the sexual assault cases involving women targeted while jogging at Mason Park at S. 75th Street in East Houston.

According to Houston Police Department (HPD), Jose Vargas was located and taken into custody at 7211 Harrisburg and is charged with assault and indecent exposure.

One accuser said a man chased her down and grabbed her from behind until she managed to get away. Another woman said a man ran up next to her, took off his pants and chased her until she got home.
