FRIDAY: Smoke this morning will eventually move out later today, but the clouds won’t! It will be a gloomy day with storms over the Plains this morning, and new ones coming in from the west this afternoon. Some of those could produce brief heavy rain and gusty winds. Temperatures only reach the mid 60s for most!

WEEKEND: More smoke moves in overnight and will stick around at least through the morning hours Saturday. More sunshine and warmer temperatures as well into the 70s and 80s, but afternoon storm chances remain.
