It takes a staff of dedicated journalists to bring you the news from around Central Indiana. In this feature, the Indianapolis Star introduces readers to our newsroom staff — or, rather, we let them introduce themselves. Up this week is Tim Evans, a 28-year veteran of the Star who has won more than 50 awards, including the Casey Medal for reporting on children's issues and the Medal of Freedom from the University of Missouri. He was the Indiana Journalist of the Year in 2009 and inducted into the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame in 2020.
