WATERLOO, N.Y. (WROC) — A major police presence is underway near the Hampton Inn on Balsley Road in Seneca Falls.

News 8 crews on scene witnessed part of the roadway being blocked off as a long line of patrol cars have lined down the street.

The Seneca Falls Central School District sent out a notice that all of its buildings are on a secure lockput due to "an incident in the community." Two buses with children on them are heading to the district office and will be with instructors until the lockdown ends.

Parents are told that Frank Knight and Elizabeth Cady Stanton schools are on a two-hour delay.
