BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was killed and his brother was injured in a shooting near a Brooklyn subway station on Thursday, according to the NYPD.
Police said it happened at Sutter and Euclid avenues around 2:40 p.m. Two 20-year-old men were found at the scene, suffering from gunshot wounds, according to authorities.
Police said 20-year-old Darius Coles was shot in the chest and later died at a hospital. His brother suffered a gunshot wound to his leg and a graze wound to his head, according to authorities.
Sources told PIX11 News that police are looking for a man who fled the shooting on a bike. No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
