NAVASOTA, Texas (KBTX) - Multiple agencies responded to a call about multiple violations at a Navasota home. Officials say 30 small dogs were found in unsafe conditions.
City of Navasota personnel and volunteers from the Grimes County Animal Rescue, Animal Allies of Grimes County, and Long Way Home Animal Rescue went out to a home in the 200 block on Buckingham Lane just off FM 379 at around 8 a.m. Thursday.
Navasota Police Department’s Animal Control Division along with the city of Navasota’s Code Enforcement Department launched an investigation and found 30 small dogs living in unsafe conditions. More traps were placed in the area to safely capture any dogs remaining outside.
