BEAUMONT, Texas — A 22-year-old Louisiana man faces federal charges for a violent crime spree in Jefferson County that included two carjackings, a shooting and an attempted convenience store robbery in October 2023, prosecutors announced.
Bracelon Armon Charles, 22, of Sunset, Louisiana, was named in a six-count federal indictment returned by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Texas this week. The charges include two counts of carjacking, two counts of brandishing or using a firearm during a violent crime, and a Hobbs Act robbery.
