The New England Revolution have just six matches left in their regular season, two of them are against the Chicago Fire, the team directly ahead of them in the Eastern Conference standings.

Though winning both matches against the Fire would not guarantee a playoff spot, it would give the Revs a massive swing, and advantage come decision day.

Heading into Saturday’s match in Chicago, New England is nine points back of Red Bull for the ninth and final playoff spot.
