LAWRENCE — Kansas football coach Lance Leipold is well aware of how talented a roster Eli Drinkwitz has assembled over the course of Drinkwitz’s tenure at Missouri.

Leipold praised the balance Drinkwitz has struck between recruiting from the high school ranks and the transfer portal. There’s a quality collection of size and speed. It’s what Leipold would expect to see from a competitive Southeastern Conference program.

Leipold also highlighted how twitchy and quick the Tigers’ defensive ends are, and how they complement the size and athleticism at defensive tackle.
