CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control posted on their Facebook page on Friday they’re meeting inspections and deadlines set by the state of Iowa.

This is related to past issues TV9 has reported on including a leaking roof and mold, that led to two failed inspections from the state.

The Facebook post, as well as documentation from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, also known as IDALS, shows they were back at the facility on Thursday for a follow up inspection.

This started back on August 15, when IDALS inspected CRACC. Inspectors found one thing that was not compliant, and the city says they’ve since updated that and is awaiting a review from the state.
