A deal struck more than a year ago to bring together two major Ohio beer and beverage distributors has been revised — and The House of LaRose banner will keep flying over the partners' Northeast Ohio operations at least for "the near future" while the details of its sale are finalized, the companies say.

Central Ohio-based Columbus & Delmar Distributing Co. is acquiring Brecksville-based House of LaRose pending supplier approvals — but the deal has been amended to transfer LaRose's distribution agreements with some manufacturers to a rival, the companies said in a Sept. 5 news release.
