ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Albany High School's Athletics Department announced they'll be hosting three intramural youth basketball clinics. The Saturday programs are scheduled for September 20, September 27, and October 4.
Led by varsity basketball coaches Wilmer "Decky" Lawson and Sean Brown, the sports clinics focus on teaching fundamental basketball skills to kids grades two through eight. Students will practice dribbling, ball-handling, footwork, and techniques for passing and shooting, which will all culminate with team scrimmages.
All three camps will be split into two sessions, with grades two to five running from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and grades six to eight slated to run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The clinics are free to attend but are only available to City School District of
