WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita artists and cultural groups can now apply for the city’s 2026 Activation Grants.
The program offers one-time funding of $500 to $10,000 for projects or professional development that benefit Wichita residents. Both individual artists and nonprofit organizations are eligible.
The new Activation Grants replace the city’s Artist Access and Developing Arts grants. Applications will be reviewed by the Cultural Funding Committee and must align with Wichita’s 2024–2028 Cultural Arts Strategic Plan, the city said in a news release.
Applications are open through Nov. 3, 2025, at wichita.submittable.com. Information sessions for applicants will be held Sept. 16 and 23.
