KEMPTVILLE – Residents of North Grenville will now have a new way to get around town.
A brand-new 2025 bus will be put into service for NGTransit on Sept. 15, which will run on a new, expanded route that will connect residents of North Grenville with the Limebank LRT station, providing access to Ottawa without the need of a car.
The new bus will run to Limebank station twice in the morning and twice in the evening, and will serve as an on-demand bus service within North Grenville boundaries during the day.
“This bus will double the capacity that we have to serve residents locally during the day,” said North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford. “It also enables our residents to get to Limebank station, so we’re trying to provide that connection to the city.”
