PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that superloads will be traveling through four Central Pennsylvania counties in September.
The superloads are scheduled to travel through Bedford, Blair, Cambria and Somerset through the week of Monday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 12. They will be transporting windmill blades as well as tower and turbine parts.
The schedule for the superloads is as follows: • Mid tower section on U.S. 220 in Bedford County beginning approximately 7:00 a.m.
Route includes U.S. 220 and Interstate 99 (I-99), and Route 2024 (Sproul Mountain Road), through Bedford County, I-99, and U.S. 22 through Blair County, and U.S. 22, Route 1003 (Munster Road), U.S. 22, Route 1036 (Rowena Drive), U.S. 22 (Admiral Peary Highway
