ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — What they say is true — everybody, or rather every puppy, loves Curve baseball.

A few dogs from the Central PA Humane Society stopped by the curve Friday afternoon before the game. Shelter volunteers said it benefits both people and pups, giving the players and Curve staff a chance to interact with the dogs and the dogs a chance to get exposure to new activities to better prepare them for their new homes.

"For a lot of the dogs, the shelter can be really stressful. It's a stressful environment, so it's nice for them to have a break from that. And we want them to go to their forever homes as soon as we can find the right one for them. So this increases our odds of finding that forever home for them," said Kristina Daversa, Volunteer Coordinator at the Central PA Huma
