DYER COUNTY, Tenn. - A man who was shot by a Mid-South deputy after a multi-county chase faces new charges.
The Dyer County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) identified that man as 44-year-old Jeremy Gray Lemons. The sheriff's office said Lemons led authorities on a chase after they tried to pull him over in a stolen car Monday night. That chase went into Gibson County and then came back into Dyer County.

Authorities disabled the car, and a Dyer County deputy approached. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said that's when the situation escalated and the deputy shot Lemons.
