DALLAS — Raiah Mandell led Minnesota State Moorhead with 18 kills and three blocks against St. Edward's and eight kills against East Central as the Dragons won twice Friday at the Dallas Classic.
MSUM rallied to beat St. Edward's 21-25, 19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-12 and swept East Central 25-23, 25-17, 25-22.
Against St. Edward's, Brielle Riess had 14 kills, 17 digs and three aces for MSUM. Mya Pfeifer had 13 kills and an ace. Riess had seven kills and 14 digs against East Central.
The Dragsons play Southwest Baptist at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by a match with host Dallas Baptist at 2 p.m.
