SEAT PLEASANT, Md. — A Prince George’s County father who reportedly disappeared from his home in mid August has been found dead, police say.

Dakarai Djehuti, 32, was last seen leaving his apartment building in the 6600 block of Greig Street in Seat Pleasant on Aug. 17.

Two weeks after his disappearance, his family told WUSA9 that he’d left without his wallet, his keys, or his ID.

Seat Pleasant police said a body that was found in Lake Arbor last week has been identified as Djehuti’s.

His family said they had no indication as to why he might leave abruptly.

Police do not believe foul play was involved in Djehuti’s death.
