Authorities in the north Twin Cities are searching for a man wanted in connection to multiple stabbings on Friday evening.
A shelter-in-place order was issued after a reported stabbing on the 7100 block of 120th Avenue just before 6 p.m., with Champlin Police Department saying there was more than one victim.
A search was launched for the suspect, who is known to the victims, but it was lifted at 7:20 p.m. as they believed the suspect had fled the area.
No details of the suspect have officially been provided by authorities, but Minnesota crime news service MN Crime reports he's a 39-year-old white man who may be driving a silver Buick Lucerne.
"This remains an active and ongoing investigation," the City of Champlin said. "Additional information will be shared as it becomes available."
