A K-pop group set to headline a convention and concert in St. Paul on Saturday have apologized to fans after discovering their U.S. visa had apparently been canceled.

The Korean boy group Be:MAX had been set to make a headlining appearance at the inaugural KPop MinneCon at St. Paul's RiverCentre, with an evening concert at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium set to coincide with the convention.

But in an Instagram post Friday evening, the band revealed that as they arrived at the airport for their flight to the U.S., they learned that their visas have been canceled.

"We’ve been preparing for a long time to spend precious time with you through American concerts, but due to the unexpected cancellation of our visa, we won‘t be able to be on stage this time," the group posted.
