CLOVIS, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) — The Clovis Police Department released more information regarding a shooting incident where a teen was shot in August.

According to CPD, at around 11:46 p.m. on Aug. 15, officers were dispatched to an incident where a caller said they heard 11 to 16 gunshots. The caller also added that a gray car drove north on Norris Street from Mabry Drive.

On arrival, officers said thirty bullet casings of two separate calibers were found in the roadway. CPD said that at about 11:52 p.m., that same day, Clovis Police Plains Regional Medical Center called Department Dispatch in reference to victims who appeared to have gunshot-related injuries.
