MOORHEAD — People in the Fargo-Moorhead area are invited to enjoy the outdoors in a new way Saturday, Sept. 6, with the debut of “Roam the Red.”
The event, hosted by Moorhead and Fargo parks, is designed to encourage locals to get outside and enjoy the trails along the Red River.
Activities include yoga, a bird walk, a dog parade and more.
“I feel like people here really want it. They just need a reason to do it. So we’re hoping that activities like yoga, guided mountain bike ride, birding and painting give people a reason to come down to the trail,” said Jenny Sheets, founder of Discover Outdoors.
Events start at 8:30 a.m. and continue through 7 p.m.
