The first month of the new season is over and Leicester City have not yet had a summer signing on the pitch.
But that could all change at Oxford United next Saturday, when all three of City’s deadline-day recruits will be in contention to start.
Aaron Ramsey is perhaps the most likely to come into the City 11. The Burnley loanee is expected to play as an attacking midfielder this season, in the position vacated by Bilal El Khannouss and that has been occupied by Louis Page in the past couple of matches.
Page, who only turned 17 two months ago, is still getting up to speed with the senior game, and so Ramsey would be the favourite of the two to start, especially as he is not on international duty and so can get to grips with Marti Cifuentes’ style over the next week.
