Hamilton County Sheriff deputies were involved in an early morning pursuit Saturday, which led to the suspect ramming two patrol cars.

The chase ensued around 1:45am when deputies attempted to stop a white Chevy Impala near the 5400 block of Highway 58, HCSO says. It was then terminated, but shortly led to a second pursuit when deputies located the car. The suspect then rammed two HCSO patrol cars.

The pursuit continued with the suspect, Dekendrick Trammell, traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-75 before crashing into the median near mile marker 353 on northbound I-75.

Trammell fled on foot but was apprehended without further incident.
