The city of Renton recently purchased 10 vehicles to add to its fleet.

On Aug. 4, the City Council approved the purchase of eight pick-up trucks, one bucket truck and one riding lawn mower for a total of $804,837.

The eight 2026 Ford-F20 4WD pick-up trucks were purchased for the Parks and Recreation Department, Park and Trail Maintenance Division. The vehicles will replace four existing Ford F-250s purchased in 2008 and fill four new truck allocations for new programs, according to the agenda bill.
