GREENVILLE, Maine (WABI) - Saturday’s rainy weather couldn’t keep folks inside in Greenville!

This weekend marked the 51st annual International Seaplane Fly-In!

Crowds braved the weather, sporting rain jackets and finding refuge under tents, to shop vendors and take a look at the different seaplanes docked along Moosehead Lake.

While the weather may have cut the annual competitions short Saturday, the rain didn’t damper on the high energy of attendees!

For organizers, the annual event has become a large economic and cultural boost for Greenville, inviting folks from across the country and beyond to shop, eat and stay in town for the weekend.
