LUBBOCK, Texas-- Xavier Ramirez, 22, was arrested on Thursday for three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after shooting into a residence in Southwest Lubbock.
Officers were called to the 4400 block of 85th Street after someone close to Ramirez reported that they had gotten into an argument. His friend had advised that the argument had escalated before he went into the restroom. When he stepped out of the restroom, he noticed Ramirez was no longer in the apartment and heard gunshots coming from the parking lot.
Officers at the scene spoke with witnesses who reported seeing a white van speeding away immediately after the shots were fired. According to a friend of Ramirez, his father was driving a colored SUV, and both of them were located in the 4300 block of 42nd Street.
