TOWANDA, PA (WENY) — Rain showers in Towanda did not stop people from taking to the streets to listen to music on Saturday, September 6. Although the day got off to a dreary start, people in the borough still came together for the annual event.
"Oh my gosh, it's amazing," said Leah, who was attending the festival. "All the food is really good and there's people and the sun's coming out."
"Oh, it's great," said Terick, who was at the festival with Leah. "This is really good for the community and stuff, it's good to get out outside end of summertime, winter's coming, it's good to do this."
Music rang through the streets as people met with friends and family to take in the sounds. Towanda Mayor Garrett Miller said the day helped show people what the borough is all about.
