PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A young man is seriously hurt after being shot in Phoenix on Friday night.

Around 6 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting near 35th and Glendale avenues . When they got to the scene, they found a young man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the suspects fled before they arrived. Detectives are still working to determine what led up to the shooting.
