St. Louis City SC had a one-goal lead and a one-man advantage on FC Dallas in the first half on Saturday night and even with that going for it, couldn’t get a win.

City SC did snap its three-game losing streak, but now has a four-game winless streak after playing Dallas to a 1-1 tie at Energizer Park. City SC had chance after chance after chance, and then a few more, but ran into two red-hot Dallas goalkeepers who stopped almost everything that came their way. City SC spent much of the second half in and around Dallas’ box and couldn’t get anything to go in. City SC had a man advantage from the 16th minute on but got only one goal despite taking 39 shots, 14 of which were on goal.
