Work related to the expansion of the San Luis I Port of Entry will require the closure of one lane on the outbound route to Mexico beginning this Monday.

The City of San Luis reported Friday that the expansion project contractor, Hensel Phelps, will be carrying out road improvements in the area of Archibald and Urtuzuastegui streets.

The work will require the closure of the right lane on Archibald Street, just before reaching the intersection with Urtuzuastegui Street and continuing along that street up to the vehicle access to the Port of Entry.

The roadwork is expected to take about three weeks. The announcement noted that dates and times for the lane closure are subject to change without prior notice.
