J’Mari Taylor is proving that the leap from FCS to FBS doesn’t have to be a struggle. Just two games into his career at the University of Virginia, the former North Carolina Central standout has already become a key offensive threat for the Cavaliers.

At 5-foot-9 and 204 pounds, Taylor transferred to UVA in January after a successful run at NCCU, where he rushed for 1,882 yards, ranking 10th in the school’s history. Though this will be his only season in Charlottesville, Taylor is making an immediate impact.
