A local official is hosting two town halls aimed at gathering public opinion on the issues of violent crime , auto theft and criminal justice bail reform .
The first is Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the Royal Canadian Legion at 79 Hamilton St. N., in Waterdown, according to a news release from the office of Flamborough—Glanbrook MPP Donna Skelly.
The second is Wednesday, Sept. 17 at Glanbrook council chambers at 4280 Binbrook Rd.
The release said, “concerns surrounding crime in the community continue to grow” and the town halls will give residents an opportunity to “ask questions and propose solutions,” plus learn about current approaches to these issues by the Ontario government and Hamilton Police Service.
