A year and a half since its inaugural term, University of Niagara Falls Canada continues to grow.
When it opened in April 2024, the private downtown institution offered two programs to about 200 students.
Operating out of the Hatch building on Queen Street, UNF now provides five programs, increasing to eight next year.
David Gray, the school’s president and vice-chancellor, said that come October, enrolment will likely hit 3,000 students.
“Right now, the vast majority of our students are face-to-face, on campus,” he said, noting UNF also offers online and hybrid options.
About 10 per cent of students are domestic, the rest international.
“Our domestic interest is going up,” said Gray.
