Josh Bowler during a pre-season friendly for Nottingham Forest

Josh Bowler says he has no regrets over a three-year spell at Nottingham Forest which failed to yield a first team appearance.

Bowler is looking to rebuild his career after re-signing for Blackpool three years after swapping Bloomfield Road for the City Ground .

The 26-year-old was frozen out and repeatedly loaned out during his time at Forest and endured a difficult 2024/25 campaign with Preston and Luton Town.

Now back with the Tangerines, Bowler has reflected on a Forest career which saw him play for Olympiakos, Cardiff, Preston and Luton, but not the club he was contracted to.

“You can’t feel regret in football, it’s such a short career,” Bowler told the Blackpool Gazette.
