A British tourist has been hospitalised following a serious incident in Ibiza, where a car struck three young women outside a popular resort. The accident occurred on Calle Moli, directly in front of the On the Bay restaurant at the Playa des Pouet resort.

Eyewitnesses reported that a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon veered off the road and onto the pavement, hitting the three women and knocking down a lamppost. The vehicle came to a halt just feet away from a pedestrian crossing.

According to reports, one of the victims is a British tourist, although her identity has not yet been disclosed. The identities of the other two women remain unknown as well. Dramatic images from the scene show a crowd gathering before emergency services arrived. Lifeguards from Playa des Pouet were the first to respond to the incident.

Shortly after, local police and three ambulances from the 061 Emergency Service arrived to treat the injured women. Eyewitness accounts suggest that two of the women appeared to be in serious condition, while the third sustained foot injuries.

As of now, neither the 061 Emergency Service nor the Sant Antoni Police have released further details regarding the victims' nationalities or ages. Witnesses described the driver as a young man, approximately 30 years old.

In the aftermath of the accident, police have closed the street to traffic and are conducting interviews with witnesses to gather more information about the incident. The event has raised safety concerns in the area, which was bustling with beachgoers and patrons enjoying nearby establishments at the time.
