After arriving near the east side of town along Route 66 about eight years ago, El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant opened the doors of its second Flagstaff location in early July.

Filling the space previously occupied by Bow Wow Street Dogs and Grill in the Fort Valley Shopping Center just north of downtown Flagstaff, a second location for El Tapatio was a long time coming, according to owners Manny and Letisia Gutierrez. Finding the right space around the city, however, stood as the key factor in expanding at the right moment.
