WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A ceremony was held Saturday afternoon at the Boys and Girls Club in West Springfield to celebrate the completion of its outdoor renovation project.

The renovation project, which cost approximately $850,000 and took a year to complete, includes two new playscapes and a terrace for club members to enjoy.

Executive Director Dan D'Angelo emphasized the importance of playscapes, stating they are essential for children's growth, helping them learn how to explore, be creative, and resilient.
