ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A former player of the Rochester Junior Knighthawks was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Milwaukee.

19-year-old Noah Snyder, a sophomore who had gone on to play lacrosse at Marquette University, was identified as one of two individuals who died at the scene of a crash in downtown Milwaukee, according to the Associated Press.

The Rochester Knighthawks posted a tribute to Snyder on their Facebook page on Saturday afternoon, following the news.

The statement read:

"The Rochester Knighthawks are heartbroken by the news of Noah Snyder’s passing.

The UCBLL standout and former Jr. Knighthawk was not only an outstanding lacrosse player but also an incredible person.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, teammates, and the Seneca Nation.
