ALEXANDRIA BAY, New York - The New York Lottery says a Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Alexandria Bay.

The overall jackpot for Saturday’s $1.8 billion Powerball drawing had 2 winning tickets sold in Missouri and Texas.

The lottery says the $50k winning ticket sold in Alexandria Bay was at the Plaza Wine and Liquor on State Route 12.

According to the NY State Lottery, twenty 3rd-prize tickets were sold in the state, including the one in Alexandria Bay.

Lottery information details a 3rd-prize winning ticket as matching 4 numbers in the regular draw and getting the Powerball number as well.
