SACKETS HARBOR, New York (WWNY) - A bustling day in Sackets Harbor Sunday, as more than a thousand people came out for the Sackets Harbor Marathon.

It’s a marathon that’s gained a lot of traction in the three years it’s been hosted, with this year seeing the highest signup numbers since it’s start in 2023.

Runners who ran the full marathon ran about 26 miles through the village and beyond.

The marathon’s top overall men’s time was set by Matthew Campbell from Massachusetts with a time of 2 hours and 40 minutes. The top women’s time was set by Collette Soucy, also from Massachusetts, with a time of 2 hours and 56 minutes.
