Fort Drum to hold training exercise, increased noise expected

FORT DRUM, New York (WWNY) - Some increased noise expected on Fort Drum this coming week.

Fort Drum Public Affairs says there will be more air traffic and military vehicle traffic. It’s part of a large-scale training exercise starting Tuesday September 9th and lasting until Thursday, September 18th.

Fort Drum and 10th Mountain Division leadership say they’ll keep residents informed while the exercise is underway.
