Pussy Riot member Aysoltan Niyazova has been apprehended by Polish border guards after a red notice was issued by Interpol. ‌

According to the anti-Kremlin group of activists , Turkmenistan-born Niyazova was detained at her country of birth's request. The activist is accused by the country's authorities of embezzling funds from its Central Bank, with the first extradition request issued in 2002. ‌
