FERGUSON — An adult male was shot to death in Ferguson Sunday morning.

Police received several calls for shots fired in the 9600 block of Abaco Court around 9:30 a.m. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A Ferguson Police spokeswoman said that, contrary to rumors, police officers wee not involved in the shooting.

Late Sunday morning, police were waiting for a search warrant so they could enter the apartment complex where the shooting happened and look for evidence, the spokeswoman said.
